AMAZON LILY (Eucharis Amazonica)
Evergreen bulbous plant for the greenhouse. The graceful flowers resemble Daffodils and reach a height of 45cm.
The Amazon Lily does not like soggy, waterlogged soils. They should be placed in an area that will not sit in water, be light but not in full sunlight as the leaves can burn in full sun. Moderate shade and a peat substrate are ideal.
Flowers can develop at varying times during the year, normally late summer, but is dependant on conditions. Very fragrant flowers.
